There are hundreds of good monitoring systems out there and thousands of competitors. However, it's the way we deliver information that counts.

We provide the comprehensive view: We will monitor your system both within and from outside, combining the two in one complete view. Meanwhile, our competitors monitor only from the "outside" OR "inside." For example, we can see that a login is functioning slowly (from the inside) and at the same time that the DB server has a high CPU utilization pointing to the cause of the slow login.

We monitor only the important stuff: We don't provide endless varieties of monitoring parameters, only what is important. Therefore, you'll never be burdened with needless information. We know what is important, and are responsible for those items. Monitoring for monitoring's sake is one thing we don’t do.

Nimble - but powerful: Above all else, our system is flexible. When we have to monitor something new, we can integrate it quickly on a custom basis. In fact, there's nothing we can't monitor.


What we monitor

Digital Edge's monitoring system consists of multiple tools and methods united under one alert and escalation system.

We monitor the following areas:

 - User experience: Digital Edge's monitoring system scripts user actions, repeating every 10 minutes. It collects response times, abnormality statistics and dumps of the user screens at the precise moment the information is collected. Such dumps are a powerful tool for troubleshooting reported issues; they show exactly what the user sees during the failure. The system also sends out daily reports with year-to-date and previous-day up-times. This is a great way to measure your "nines" and report up-times to execs.

 - Performance metrics: Our monitoring system receives performance parameters from all monitored devices on a scheduled basis. This consists of the most valuable performance metrics, allowing us to analyze performance and potential problems of monitored systems, critical alerts, information critical processes, traces of potential hacking attempts, and more.

 - Client's security profiles: We collect and compare snapshots of security profiles-abnormalities are promptly detected and reported as an alert.


How we deliver & analyze information

All information is delivered via a secure web service and transferred to the storage and analysis modules. Our system architecture is flexible and robust; we can always add monitoring parameters or methods on fly.

Our analysis module detects signs of potential performance problem, malfunction, potential failures and abnormalities. The analytic is run every 10 minutes, and raises alerts classifying them as critical, non-critical or informational. It also compiles the information and pre-build performance graphs.
