Through sets of production stress tests, profiling and tuning experience, we have identified hot areas that need monitoring and narrowed down system monitoring to four areas of attention that gives full, high level picture of system performance.
We have our own monitoring tool concentrating on providing better precision of the information within those four areas, rather then providing wide specter of "censors".

Digital Edge has developed a system utilizing Agent - Web Service concept by means of a small program installed on the server, which collects information about the server health, and submits it to a web service over HTTPS. We have developed agents for use on all operating systems. This approach has made Digital Edge's network topology geographically independent.
